RUBENS&WOMEN EXHIBITION AT THE DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY: A CELEBRATION OF COLOURS
Mylands is delighted to be an official partner of Dulwich Picture Gallery. We have been creating and supplying bespoke paint to complement Dulwich Picture Gallery’s exhibitions since 2017. Dulwich Picture Gallery was founded in 1811. It is the world’s first purpose-built public art gallery. Mylands paints are made in Lambeth, South London and it was natural for us to support such an iconic venue, sharing our passion for colours, and located just around the corner from us.
The exhibition walls feature a selection of colours from Mylands - Colours of London collection. Colours include Millbank™ No.254, Bond street™ No.219, Lock Keeper™ No.18, Mortlake Red™ No.290
Their current exhibition, Rubens & Women presents an outstanding range of paintings and drawings from throughout the Flemish artist Rubens' career, celebrating women and showcasing the varied and important place occupied by them, both real and imagined, in his world.
