frequently asked questions
We’ve answered some of the most common questions to help navigate selecting the right paint for your project.
Mylands paints are renowned for their rich pigmentation, durability, and eco-friendly formulations. With natural earth pigments and low-VOC, these water-based paints deliver both vibrant bright colours and environmental responsibility.
Our paints each have unique characteristics making them perfect for their specific jobs, we recommend choosing:
- Marble Matt Emulsion for walls and ceilings
- Plant-Based Multi-Surface Paints for interior and exterior surfaces including walls, woodwork & radiators
- Masonry Paint for brickwork & render
- Plant-Based Floor Paint for wooden flooring
Proper preparations ensures the best results. Clean surfaces to remove dirt and grease, fill any cracks or holes, and apply a Mylands Primer. It's recommended to apply at least two coats of paint for optimal coverage and finish.
