Originally created for master decorators and the film, television, and theatre industries, Mylands luxury paints became available to the public in 2012 with the launch of the Colours of London collection. Curated by fifth-generation CEO Dominic Myland, the range brings together archive colours with contemporary shades to create a timeless paint palette inspired by London.
The 120 paint shades are each named after a district, landmark, or cultural icon of London. The collection blends historic colours, such as Amber Grey No.156 and Empire Grey No.171 (in continuous production since 1968), with modern tones, including Soho Pink No.266, Market Green No.38, and the bestselling Bond Street No.219.
