Colour designed by Jinny Blom. A warm toned dead flat grey that links dark and light colours. It is soft and benign with an earthy undertone that is always warm and inviting. The perfect colour for outbuildings, woodwork and incidental ironwork. A perfect background for substantial climbers such as Wisteria or Hydrangea Petiolaris.
Recommended Preparation: Use Light Grey Primer & Undercoat before painting walls with topcoat.
Please note that the 100ml sample pots for the Jinny Blom collection are in the Plant-Based Dead Matt finish and are suitable for exterior application on wood and metal.

What are the different types of finish?
Marble Matt Emulsion
For interior walls, ceilings and bathrooms, our Marble Matt Emulsion paint is made with crushed Carrara marble delivering a fantastic depth of colour and luminescence as well as outstanding durability.
Plant Based Multi-Surface Dead Matt
An exceptionally flat, non-reflective finish for both interior and exterior surfaces. Combining an elegant, velvety look with unparalleled performance, it is highly durable, scrubbable, and perfect for a flawless, modern appearance in high-traffic areas.
Plant Based Multi-Surface Satin
A beautiful, mid-sheen finish with a soft lustre for interior and exterior use. Exceptionally durable and sprayable, this finish provides a smooth, elegant glow that easily withstands the wear and tear of busy spaces.
Plant Based Multi-Surface Eggshell

PREPARATION
Using a Primer seals the surface you’re painting on. You should have a full, solid coat of Mylands Primer before applying paint on your chosen surface, to ensure that it sticks to it fully, is evenly absorbed, and has a smooth and even finish with a rich depth of colour.
APPLICATION
- Before use clean surfaces to be painted ensuring any grease, dirt or flakes are removed.
- Do not use in extremes of temperature.
- Use between 8ºC and 30ºC.
- Stir well before use.
- This product is formulated for brush, roller or spray application.
DRYING TIME
Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Recoat in 3-4 hours.
CLEANING
For best results and to extend the life of your tools, wash brushes and rollers thoroughly immediately after use. Use warm water mixed with a small amount of mild detergent, working the paint out of the bristles or roller until the water runs clear. Rinse well and reshape brushes before allowing them to dry naturally.
Avoid letting paint dry on tools, as this can affect future application quality.
STORAGE
Ensure this product is stored in a frost-free environment and kept at a temperature above 5°C at all times.
Replace the lid securely after use to prevent contamination or drying. Store upright and away from direct sunlight or extreme heat. When stored correctly and unopened, the product will remain in good condition for up to 12 months from the date of purchase.
