Using a lint-free cotton pad moistened with the Friction Polish, apply a thin coat to the turned wood on the lathe rotating at low speed.
Leave for 5 – 10 minutes and then increase speed to medium and buff with a clean lint-free cotton cloth or 0000 grade wire wool.
Take care not to use excessive speed as the polish is liable to scorching due to the high degree of friction produced.
If required, a second coat may be applied in similar manner after 10 – 20 minutes.
If a higher sheen is required, the finished article may be burnished using Burnishing Cream or a wax polish.
