As the official paint partner of the The Decorative Fair, Mylands has worked closely with the Autum Fair exhibitors to create unique and outstanding designs for their spaces at the fair.

The Decorative Fair Battersea is the ultimate destination for interior designers and antiques and art enthusiasts. The family owned event launched in 1985 and became an instant reference for connaisseurs.It is now a key destination during the Design fair season for professionals and esthetes.

The Autumn Fair, currently taking place at Battersea Park until Sunday 6th October, showcases over 130 dealers in a wide range of disciplines, from Indian and South East Asian art to Treen articles. The Fair is the perfect place to source items with rich histories and incredible stories behind them but also to find inspiration for your home design.

This season, Mylands colours are featured by over 30 exhibitors, displaying an array of colours. From bright standout shades to subtle neutrals, Mylands colours have helped exhibitors to give a unique aesthetic to their space.

As an official partner of the fair, Mylands has access to a limited number of tickets for the fair. Acquired, Stand C20 featuring Covent Garden Floral™ No.270

Acquired, founded by Domhnall O Gairbhi, is a new exhibitor to the Decorative Fair. Acquired looks to bringing its audience a carefully curated collection of the very finest mid-century modern furniture, lighting, art and design from around the globe, handpicked by O Gairbhi.

When it came to selecting colour for his exhibitor stand, O Gairbhi chose to feature Covent Garden Floral™ No.270 from the Upcycled collection. A reddish pink originally inspired by a wallpaper found in a house located in Covent Garden. This hue is both light and dark, versatile for pairing with other colours or an elegant standaone colour to provide a rosy and natural appearance.

When deciding to choose Mylands, O Gairbhi comments, 'I really like the broad palette [of colours] and in particular, the philosophy of creating fabulous colours through the Upcycled intiative.'

Linda Jackson Antique Silver, Stand B05 featuring FTT-006™ Shocking Pink

Linda Jackson has been within the antiques world for thirty years and founded her eponymous business, Linda Jackson Antique Silver twelve years ago. Jackson specialises in a wide range of decorative silver, in particular tea-wares and enamelled silver, which she collects from all over the world. 

For this year's Autumn fair, Jackson has chosen FTT-006™ Shocking Pink, a striking colour to complement her display of antiques and an eye-catching colour combination against her silver collection. From the Film, Television and Theatrea collection, FTT-006™ Shocking Pink is a particularly wellknown shade for its appearance in the award-winning Barbie movie featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. 

An equal mix of red and magenta, this shade is guaranteed to provide character within a space, whether featuring on the walls only or as detailing.

Brown Elliott, Stand A18 featuring Dulwich Red

Brown Elliott is a family business, specialising in selling British & Continental 18th, 19th and mid-century interiors, across furniture, mirrors, lighting and glassware. Furthermore, they offer an interior decorating service, sourcing exclusively for their clients.

Their stand at the Autumn fair features Dulwich Red. A deep shade inspired by Sir John Soane's own 'Pompeian Red' from his personal library originally made bespoke for the Dulwich Picture Gallery. The inclusion of this hue brings together the pieces on display, telling a rich narrative of British heritage throughout the years.

madeinbritaly, Stand E08 featuring FTT-007™ Magenta

madeinbritaly, founded by Marco Venturi, looks to revive the connection between Italy and Great Britain through showcasing contemporary applied arts and collectible designs from both nations. Venturi focuses on not only decorative pieces created by contemporary artists and makers, but also on exquisite practical objects created by contemporary designers.

Venturi chose FTT-007™ Magenta for his stand at this year's fair, however deciding to feature the colour in a unique fashion, through painting framed outlines and table edges to create an eyecatching design to coincide with the beautiful array of art pieces.   

Replicate the look by pairing with either Pure White™ No.1 or Maugham White™ No.2
