Lavender is known for its relaxing qualities, so this paint colour is ideal to bring calm to a room. This lilac-grey paint colour is ideal for a bedroom or bathroom to invoke an air of peace and tranquility. Mylands Lavender Garden™ No.30 has grey undertones to this pale purple paint. Use as a neutral paint colour, against darker home accessories.

Quality

Mylands paints are fast drying, durable and washable. That makes them ideal paints for any interior walls, from kitchens and living rooms to bathrooms and bedrooms. Our paints are easy to apply, quick drying and almost odourless.

Mylands don’t just create interior paints. We also have exterior paints. The wood and metal range of paints are available in matt (8% sheen), eggshell (23% sheen) or gloss finish (80% sheen). This hardwearing paint is formulated for use on woodwork (think furniture or skirting boards) and metal (like gates and railings). They are extremely durable and easy to clean.

Unlike many other manufacturers, Mylands still use natural earth pigments in our paint. This enhances the sumptuous, rich colour. Our paints are water based with a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) content. As such, they’re almost free of solvents making them better for you, your family and the planet.

Our signature paint, the Marble Matt Emulsion, is an acrylic emulsion. It’s outstanding opacity results in excellent coverage per litre. A single litre of our paint covers around 15m2. Mylands paints can be ordered in various sizes, from a small tester to a large 5 litre pot.

Preparation

Prep is the key for perfect paintwork. Make sure to have tools, fillers, sealants, sand paper and paint ready for your projects or renovations. When it comes to painting any surface, be it woodwork, metalwork or masonry, make sure to put the work in before application To get the best effect, ensure surfaces are smooth, bump and dirt free before applying a primer and the final choice of colour.
