Established in 1884, Mylands is Britain’s oldest, family-owned paint and wood polishes manufacturer. Over 5th generation, Mylands has perfected the art of fine, richly pigmented paints with real depth of colour. Using the finest ingredients, Mylands manufacture all its paints and wood polishes in London Lambeth.

Quality and sustainability are at the heart of our business, with the use of high quality natural pigment and raw materials as crushed Carrara marble. Along with our traditional paints, we offer a high quality Plant Based paint with durable and long lasting effect for the outdoor and Olive stone Plant Based paint for the indoor. As a family business, we always have the next generation in mind: our paints are produced to order, with the best sustainable practices in place. With our manufacturing site in London, we can fully control and measure our carbon footprint and help our clients and partners to achieve their sustainability goals by providing a local and sustainable solution.

A preferred supplier for the film and TV industry: our paints have been featured in major productions, as James Bond, Star Wars and Barbie and in iconic TV series as The Crown. Our focus on high quality has made us a preferred partner for art institutions and museums as Dulwich Picture Gallery and the National portrait gallery.

We received the ultimate credential in 1985 with a Royal Warrant.
