Attributes

This marine blue paint has depth and complexity. It combines paint colours including blue, grey and even red. Much like the sea, it can feel dark and enveloping. Those qualities can work well in a living room or even a bedroom, where you want to feel cosy and cocooned.

Quality

Mylands paints are kind to you, your family and the environment. They’re water-based with a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) content which makes them virtually solvent free. Mylands are one of the last manufacturers to continue using natural earth pigments in our paint. We choose to do so for their eco-friendly properties and also because they add a deep richness to the colour.

Our formulations are easy to apply with quick drying times. They’re low odour, and easy to clean off paint brushes.

We offer a range of paint finishes, suitable for different surfaces. Our Marble Matt Emulsion, is a water-based acrylic emulsion paint. Its opacity is remarkable and gives excellent coverage per litre. Just one litre of our emulsion paint coves approximately 15 square metres. Our high quality paints are fast drying, durable and washable, making them ideal for any interior walls, including kitchens and bathrooms.

Our range of wood and metal paints, is available in 3 quality finishes - matt (8% sheen), eggshell (23% sheen) or gloss (80% sheen). Suitable as both interior or exterior paints, this range is particularly hardwearing. Our wood and metal paints have multiple uses including woodwork, metalwork, front doors and skirting boards.

Our paints come in sizes from sample pot up to 5 litre tin.

Preparation

Prep is the key for perfect paintwork. Make sure to have tools, fillers, sealants, sand paper and paint ready for your projects or renovations. When it comes to painting any surface, be it woodwork, metalwork or masonry, make sure to put the work in before application To get the best effect, ensure surfaces are smooth, bump and dirt free before applying a primer and the final choice of colour.
